Another happy occasion for Demi Moore in the awards season after her recognition but this time with an SAG Award for the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Lead Role for the role in The Substance. This makes her win number three as she previously won the Golden Globe Awards as well as the Critics’ choice awards.
Victory speech filled with raw emotions
During the award speech, Demi shares lots of memories she has of the times she has been part of the entertainment business; uttering how she joined SAG at only fifteen in 1978 and how it gave her a purpose and direction, something she did not have at the time hence acquired some art.

She on the other hand wants the young actors to grasp the sentiment of ‘appreciate the experience’.
A tight race – countering for the Oscars
